One sit for child one step for childhood

Smitten with this little cherry stool, I took one home to see if my 4 year would embrace it with as much vigor it as I did. She loved it! It sits next to our family bed so she can get up without the feeling of an Everest climb. Before she hops into bed she easily converts it into a chair by flipping up the first step. Then she reads her bedtime book (more like tells her own story), takes off her slippers and sings her goodnight mantra all while sitting comfortably in her Cherry Chair. In the morning, with eyes wide open, she carries it briefcase style to the bathroom for morning wake up and then to the kitchen where she prepares her own granola. It has become a fixture in our house and among her favorite items that give her a little more height and a lot more independence.

Our Cherry Chair Step is crafted from solid cherry wood with contrasting walnut plugs and a smooth metal mechanism that easily flips the chair to a step.
