Drumming is a simple, universal activity loved by many. Our Djembe Drum produces a wide range of tones. Wood etched designs vary, no two are exactly alike. Size is 6" diameter, 12" tall.

A deep bass tone is produced by hitting the direct center, while an open hand slap creates a high sharp tone. The greatest thing about a djembe is how easy it is to master the instrument. There is a saying by the Bamana people in Mali, "Anke dje, anke be". This translates in English as “everyone gather together”. From experience, that is exactly what kind of energy is released when a djembe is played – a communal energy.
